Objective : Design a library that can be integrated with ideas that are interactive and incorporate the use of innovative technology. There were no restrictions as to how the physical space should look or feel nor were there any given parameters on how big the space should be.

About: This is a revamp of an interdisciplinary team project during my 4th year at CCA. A collaboration with interaction major students.

A book cover creates the first impression on its potential readers. Therefore, a book cover design is one of the most important aspects of marketing a book. A successful book cover needs to make a reader 'feel' the manuscript rather than 'tell' about it.

We think otherwise.

Our target audience is children from ages 5-15. Children are honest and simple-minded and the best way for them to learn is with images. Therefore, we decide that it would be beneficial to showcase these books by displaying their front covers digitally throughout the space. Helping children see the vast array of options and choosing a book by its cover that sparks and speaks to their interest from the jumpstart.
